Broccoli and feta puff pastry

Broccoli and feta puff pastry is a savoury, open pastry crust with a filling made with eggs, cream, feta cheese and broccoli. Can be served hot or cold. It is part of French cuisine but is also popular in other countries, particularly as party food.

Ingredients

  • One round puff pastry
  • 100g feta cheese
  • 250g fresh broccoli
  • 2 eggs
  • 200ml cooking cream
  • Salt and pepper

 

Instructions

  1. Cut the broccoli florets and blanch them in boiling water for 15 minutes;
  2. beat the eggs with salt and pepper;
  3. add 200 ml coking cream;
  4. put a puff pastry on a round pan;
  5. Using a fork, gently prick the bottom of the dough;
  6. crumble the feta cheese over and add the boiled broccoli;
  7. complete by adding the egg and cream mixture;
  8. bake at 180° for 25 minutes.
